If you’ve decided to use the Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks plugin, but the Kadence Starter Templates aren’t exactly working for your design needs… you’re going to love this post!
I’ve complied the ultimate list of third-party creators who have designed Kadence Child Themes and Kadence Block Templates so that you can save time on design and get a professional-looking website in just a few clicks of your mouse.
What Are Kadence Child Themes?
Kadence Child Themes are essentially like buying a website in a box. Purchasing one allows you to import a full website design, including the Theme’s customizer settings, pages, posts, and demo images.
Some child theme creators also build in custom CSS to the child theme files to make it easy for users to get a custom-looking design without having to mess with the code.
Do I Need A Child Theme With Kadence?
Technically, no. Most users don’t need a child theme. The creators of the Kadence Theme expertly developed the theme to be easily customizable through the WordPress Customizer settings alone.
You can read more about why you’d need a Kadence child theme here.
If you decide to use a Kadence child theme, you’ll most likely use it for aesthetics and to take advantage of design shortcuts!
What Are Kadence Blocks Templates?
Kadence block templates are collections of pre-designed sections and full-page templates that can be imported into the WordPress editor on any page or post on your site.
If you don’t need or want a full child theme, prebuilt blocks are a great way to hand-select the templates that work best for your business.
I personally love using Kadence blocks because it allows me to extend the functionality of the Gutenberg editor and function more like a page builder!
Why Buy a Child Theme or Template Collection?
If you’re wondering if a template is the right blog or business investment for you, consider the following reasons before buying:
1. Save Time/ Launch Quickly
By purchasing a child theme or template collection, you can save hours and launch quickly! Building a page design from scratch can take a lot of time, especially when tweaking the design settings for desktop, tablet, and mobile views for each page.
2. Get a Beautiful Design
If you don’t have an eye for design, buying a template can ensure that your website looks professional, even if you’re setting it up yourself.
🔥 Before you purchase though, make sure the theme or template infuses solid marketing and conversion strategies and doesn’t just look pretty! You want a site that will work for your business long-term.
3. Save Money
Compared to hiring a designer, templates and themes don’t require a huge upfront investment but can still tell your brand story well and allow you to focus on serving your audience well.
Where To Buy Kadence Child Theme & Template Designs
If by now you think investing in a theme or a template is right for you, I highly recommend you check out the following creators:
DIY Dream Site
DIY Dream Site is a quarterly membership that equips bloggers and businesses with the Kadence block templates, tech tutorials, community, and group coaching they need every month to launch their own website and promote their business online without breaking the bank.
If you are a content creator or online business owner who needs help creating and marketing your dream website with WordPress, consider joining DIY Dream Site!
This is actually the membership program that I created to give business owners the guidance and resources they’d get from working with a WordPress website designer without paying the designer price tag!
Restored316 Designs
Lauren at Restored 316 is one of the first creators to fully embrace Kadence child themes. Her company creates feminine WordPress themes to help female entrepreneurs and bloggers build a beautiful and professional online presence!
If you love the light and airy design aesthetic, consider purchasing a Kadence Child Theme from Lauren. She has helpful theme support docs to assist you with the installation and customization process.
Restored 316 also offers block collections as well. If you love the look of a child theme but don’t want to commit to purchasing the entire theme, you can get one of her theme collections. They also offer conversion callouts for bloggers and funnel bundles that match certain theme designs as well!
Brand&Build.Me
This next block collection may be my absolute favorite!
I’ve had the privilege of working with Michelle, the creator of Brand&Build.me, on a handful of custom Website Design Projects, and can honestly say, she’s brilliant!
If you are looking for unique Kadence block designs that are customized with CSS, Michelle delivers! When you import one of her blocks onto your page, she also includes instructions right on the page that tells you how to modify the CSS to customize it even more to fit your brand.
If you are a beginner and aren’t comfortable with CSS, this may be too overwhelming and advanced for you. If you are somewhat comfortable modifying a little bit of CSS with guidance and/or are a Web Designer trying to achieve more custom-looking design for client projects, you’ve got to subscribe to the B&B Blocks Library! It’s just $14.99 per month – so affordable for what you get!
While the designs are totally amazing on the front end, there is one downside: the back-end editor doesn’t reflect all of the CSS style changes, so it can look funky on the editor screen. That’s just “par for the course” with custom development in WordPress though.
Hearten Made
Hearten Made is another great place to get feminine WordPress themes. Carissa designs gorgeous, budget-friendly, and easy-to-use WordPress themes (built with the Kadence) that can be customized to fit your branding & help you launch your site within days. If you love a neutral, minimalist, or feminine aesthetic, you’ll love the Hearten Made themes.
