I am so proud to share the stunning mindset & yoga coach website design we launched for Keris Timol!
In this post, I’m going to give you all of the project details, including the plugins and tools we used to achieve this design so that you can build a similar coach website design like it too!
About Keris Timol
If you haven’t met Keris, she is a talented mindset coach & yoga teacher who helps overwhelmed moms recenter their hearts and minds so they can be better parents.
Keris has a Facebook Group called Empowered Mom Strong, which she calls “a sacred space for mothers to connect, share & engage in mindful mothering.”
Keris offers her clients:
- Yoga course for moms called Reclaim Your Life
- Virtual yoga studio with online yoga classes that can be accessed anywhere in the world
- Private 1:1 coaching and yoga sessions
Keris’ Website Dilemma
When Keris first reached out to me, she already had a website, but she knew she needed a beautiful website redesign for a few reasons:
- Her website was outdated, and she was embarrassed to share it with anyone.
- She had corporate clients that often asked for her website, so it needed to look professional to book more business.
- Keris needed to move her yoga classes and mindset coaching to an online format because of the Pandemic.
After our discovery call, Keris was excited to get started, so we worked together to craft a modern design with a clean layout to help her personal brand shine!
The WordPress Website Project Details
First, we started with an in-depth discovery call. Together…
- We outlined her ideal client;
- Identified the problems she needed to identify and address on her website;
- Gathered design inspiration;
- And defined her website and business goals.
I have to say: this process was really fun because I got to see Keris’ warm, calming personality in action! After our call, I went on to build a website and brand that reflected both her personality and aligned with her heart-centered mission to help moms.
Brand Identity & Design Direction
For the brand direction, we landed on a gorgeous, calming color palette that was inspired mostly by nature. Keris had an incredible photoshoot with lots of yoga poses surrounded by trees, mountains, water, and wood, so we pulled our favorite shades from those inspiration pictures and landed on a purple, green, and tan color palette. It was a total vibe.
Website Plugins & Tools
As for the tools I used to build Keris’ website:
- I started with a WordPress website hosted on Siteground.
- I installed the Astra theme (free version)
- I designed the entire website using the incredibly user-friendly Elementor Pro Page Builder plugin!
I chose this tech stack because I wanted to give Keris a website that she could easily manage and maintain long after the website design project was finished.
Elementor is a visual drag-and-drop page builder, meaning that whenever Keris needs to add new pages to the site or make content changes, she can do so quickly without having to hire me every single time she needs to make a minor change!
